Great Pyramid Giza

The ancient Egyptians built pyramids as tombs for the pharaohs

and their queens.And it was the exclusive privilege to have the Pyramid tomb.The pharaoh were buried in pyramids of many different 

shapes and sizes from before the beginning of the old kingdom to

the end of the middle kingdom.Today there more than 93 Pyramids in Egypt,the most famous ones
are those at Giza.

Khufu's Pyramid is built entirely of limestone,and is considered an architectural masterpiece.
It contains around 1,300,000 blocks ranging in weight from 2.5 ton to 15 ton and is built on square base it with sides measuring 230m(755),covering 13 acres.
Its 4 sides face 4 the cardinal points precisely and it has an angle of 52 degrees.

The pharaoh Khufu,like the pharaohs before him,begin planning his 'house of eternity'

as soon as he took the throne.

cemeteries were usually built on the west bank because the sun 'died' west 

horizon every night.

Khufu's architect knew the importance of building the pharaoh's final resting place

so that its sides faced directly north,south,east and west.

They planned a largest one outlines of the pyramid were measured and marked in the desert sand.

Then the building began.

Large blocks of stone were cut from quarries nearby.

They were dragged by groups of men across the desert to the side of the pyramid

and set in place.

Most of the workers were farmers who worked on building the pyramid during the flood season

when their fields were under water.

After the first level was in place,the workers built ramps of mudbrick,limestone chips and clay.

The workers dragged the large stones up the ramps to build the next level of the pyramid.

For about 20 years,hundreds of men worked on building the pyramid.

As they built each level,they also built the ramps around the pyramid.

When the pyramid was almost finished,a special block covered in shining metal was placed

on the top of the pyramid.
Then,blocks of white limestone from quarries across the Nile were used to 

cover the pyramid.

The blocks were trimmed to make the outside of the pyramid smooth.

Finally,the pyramid was finished.

Khufu's pyramid was only part of the complex built for him.
Another parts of this complex:
-Three pyramids for Khufu's queens.
-Several deep pits containing boats that had been buried.
-A mortuary temple where Khufu would be worshipped  after he died.
-A causeway leading from the pyramid complex down to the valley temple.

'The Last Supper' drawing has told about a story at  last night JESUS got supper with his prophets.His have 12 prophets all of.He said that either of the them will be betray him soon.All of them shocked by the announcement.Some of them showed an angry reaction,some wonder about that.SIMON PETRUS showed a signal to man that are on left Jesus to ask about who the betrayer.Jesus answers "The person i gave my bread dipped into the bowl,he was."Jesus took a piece of bread dyeing it into the bowl,he it to JUDAS son of Simon Iscariot.

Some opinion has said about the one person on the right Jesus is a woman.But I don't think so because I think there is man.His name is Yohanes.A man of loved by Jesus.Yohanes is young follower,gentle and without a beard.You can see on the picture,Yohanes look like sleep.It imagine Yohanes is sleepy,or maybe his don't want to take a part about what happened there.

Tsang Tsou Choi

                                                    Tsang Tsou Choi aka 'King of Kowloon

November 12,1921-July 15,2007

Born in Liantang Village,Zhaoqing city,Guangdong Province,China

Traveling to Hong Kong at the age of 16, he was a poor worker and was barely literate. He began to mark the streets of Hong Kong with his distinctive graffiti at the age of 35. He claimed that he had studied his ancestral tree and discovered that most of the land of Kowloon belonged to his ancestors. He said that Kowloon belonged to his grandfather, in particular. There are no records which back up Tsang's claim.

At the height of his graffiti career, his obsessive marking of territory made his graffiti an ever-present aspect of the streets of Hong Kong. The graffiti has been spotted at many places on the streets of Hong Kong, ranging from lampposts, utility boxes, pillars, pavements, street furniture, and building walls, to an occasional car. The contents of his calligraphic graffiti usually include his name, his title (Emperor or King of Kowloon, Hong Kong, or China).A Hong Kong magazine named him one of the city's ten least influential people. However, this supposed lack of influence does not extend to the art world. His typography has inspired many fashion designers, art directors, interior decorators, and CD cover artists.His style has also informed the work of traditional artists, such as Oscar Ho.

During his last years,he no longer wrote on walls. However, his poor health did not entirely halt his calligraphic efforts. He continued his work on paper, household linens, and other mundane items.

He received international recognition for his work. Photographs of his work have toured in shows, such as "Power of the Word", which began its US tour at Grinnell College's Faulconer Gallery on Oct 6, 2000. In 2003, he was included in the Venice Biennale. His first major commercial recognition came when Sotheby's auctioned a board, painted by Tsang, for HK$55,000 (USD $7,050) on October 31, 2004.

He died on 15 July 2007 following a heart attack in Hong Kong. He was 85. Art critic Lau Kin-wai said Tsang spent his final days at an elderly home surrounded by family members. He also said that Tsang's last wish was for another exhibition of his work.
